Measles in the U.S. [Infographic]

In January 2015, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) traced an aggressive, multi-state measles outbreak to Disneyland in Anaheim, California — just 15 years after the CDC declared that measles had been eliminated from the United States.

MPH@GW, the online Master of Public Health at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University, used CDC data to create the following timeline, which aims to help explain the evolution, elimination and resurgence of measles in the U.S. Keep reading to learn more.
