Prerequisites for admission into the online M.S. in Management of Health Informatics and Analytics program include:
An undergraduate course in accounting and an introductory course in statistics
A minimum of three years of clinical or administrative experience in the health care sector or working in data analytics or IT
Current employment in a health care-related organization*
*Incoming students from other industries will be allowed admission if they can demonstrate strong professional experience in the health care field and meet the other prerequisites. No student will be admitted with less than three years of relevant experience.
Applications are now being accepted for the start dates listed below. Because applications are reviewed as they are received, you are encouraged to submit your completed application as soon as possible. Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis.
HealthInformatics@GW offers four program start dates each year, typically in January, April, July and October. We are available to help you complete your application in time for your desired start date.
