The online M.S. in Management of Health Informatics and Analytics degree program can take two to four years to complete, depending on your schedule and preferences. Classes are taught in a hybrid model that combines online modules (10 weeks in length) and two campus visits that take place on GW’s campus in Washington, D.C.

Program Requirements

  • Graduate Credit Requirement: 45 graduate credits are required.
  • Course Requirements: Successful completion of the 10 online courses taught in eight modules and two on-campus immersion sessions are required.
  • Grade Point Requirement: An overall grade point average of 3.0 or above is required to graduate.
  • Time Limit Requirement: The degree must be completed within four years.
  • Transfer Credit Policy: Up to 12 graduate credits that have not been applied to a previous graduate degree may be transferred to this degree. Credits must be earned from an accredited institution in the last three years with a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
  • Culminating Experience Requirement: Successful completion of the Health Innovation and Entrepreneurship course is required.
