Admissions and Application Requirements

MPH@GW students are required to have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university. No GRE scores are required. MPH@GW seeks motivated candidates with a history of scholastic excellence who are ready to become leaders in the public health field. If you believe your test scores have the potential to strengthen your application, you may still send us your GRE scores.

To apply to the MPH@GW, you must submit:

  • Statement of purpose
  • Official transcripts
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Application fee

International applicants must submit TOEFL scores if their native language is not English.

Application Deadlines

MPH@GW is guaranteeing a tuition scholarship of $10,000 to students who are accepted and enrolled into the upcoming cohort.

MPH@GW offers program start dates four times per year, typically in January, April, June and September. Applications are accepted for the start dates listed below and admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis.

Applicants who submit their application by the priority deadline will receive admissions decisions first, have priority when registering for classes and may be eligible to have the $75 application fee waived.
