Each GW Public Health Online program features real-world, practical learning experiences that play a key role in helping our students develop into public health and health care leaders.
MPH@GW students complete a practicum at a placement site in their community, which is selected in partnership with their academic advisor and based on each student’s unique career goals.
MHA@GW and HealthInformatics@GW students visit the GW campus in Washington, D.C., for in-person immersion events that enable them to network with faculty and classmates and learn from industry experts and innovators in health care.
—Alicia Day, MPH@GW Student
"In the MPH@GW program, students not only benefit from the real-world knowledge and expertise of a world-class faculty, but the interactions and experiences they develop with fellow peers in and out of the virtual classroom. The program is uniquely equipped to help students find their passion in public health while connecting with professionals across this ever-growing field."
— Lacey French, Director of MPH@GW Admissions
